Dominica Underwater Photographs

A collection of pictures from the caribbean island of Dominica.

This was one of the loctions used for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean. This island is seen by many as the "new Bonaire" for underwater photography.

Colourful sponges pepper the surrounding area, twinkling like embedded jewels, fish pour over the reef in a multitude of colour. Trumpet fish swim lazily under the pier.

Most of the images taken are from the local reefs surounding the Dominica Dive Lodge and from the house reef.
